I was fortunate to be offered the opportunity to sail as volunteer navigator on the recent voyage of the historic sailing vessel "Kathleen and May" from Liverpool to Bristol.

"Kathleen & May" was built in 1900 and is the oldest remaining British-built, wooden, three-masted, topsail schooner still sailing. It was a great pleasure to make the voyage between these historic ports on this beautiful vessel. 

The vessel is permanently based in Liverpool's Albert Dock and is operated by the "Kathleen & May" Heritage Trust.  More details of the vessel and her history can be found online.
